Kerstin says this shot was taken less than one minute later, during totality. It demonstrates just how much even a sliver of sunlight can obscure the view when there's smoke in the air. Unfortunately although Laramie Peak exited totality nearly a minute before we did near Glendo, we never noticed it getting lighter.
