After getting settled at the JK Bar Bible Ranch, per earlier advice from the ranch owner, Jim and I took a hike uphill about 25 minutes and most of a mile each way, to check out possible viewing sites for the next morning. This view westerly gives you some idea of the open, barren terrain, and the great view of not much in particular! It was high, remote, and quiet.
