This is a view north across the Casper valley to Casper Mountain from outside the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center (what a mouthful). What you don't see here is the completely full parking lot -- I just pulled up briefly for this picture -- we gave up on touring the museum because apparently everyone else in Casper for the eclipse had the same idea that morning!

What you also don't see here very well is across the valley, due to smoke and haze from distant forest fires. This smoke apparently moved east to Glendo the next morning while Casper mostly cleared out. Yay for them, bummer for us.
