After coming down off Casper Mountain the previous day, we were lucky to snag a small, quiet, pretty corner campsite at the Fort Caspar Campground, which allowed us to visit the Fort Caspar Museum. The next morning, Sunday (one day until totality!), we checked out eclipse festival setup at some ballfields (not open yet), and finally ran into extreme crowds up the hill at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center.
