Saturday morning at Alcova, and I was awake even earlier than the day before, not at all short on sleep though. I witnessed this gorgeous sight from our camp at 5:43 am. There was Venus, and the waning crescent moon on a collision course with the sun just two days later! And we were already in the path of totality, which was freaking awesome for me.
