Evening in camp at upper Cottonwood Campground, Alcova Reservoir. We could have parked down by the shore again, but joined an internet acquaintance up on the hill at a nice shelter. We left the next day just before other friends joined him to view the upcoming eclipse from there a few days later.
Between the front of the van and the tree, in the distance, is the island I paddled to earlier, and more to the right is the larger pavilion where Cathie hung out while I and then the other guy used my kayak.
