Cathie enjoyed hanging out in the van in the shade while I went for my first of five, and the longest, kayak loop of the trip. First I looked for, and kind of found, the dinosaur tracks I'd seen on the interpretive sign. Then I made a big, leisurely counterclockwise loop a couple of miles south, across, back on a diagonal, and north.
Later in the afternoon, we did a relatively short but dusty drive north over the peak of the Seminoe Mountains, down past the Miracle Mile on the North Platte River, and back up north and west to the dam area of Pathfinder Reservoir.
