Years ago a friend began this chainsaw carving. Last fall (this picture was also taken in November) I got around to working on it more, including using a hand rasp for some smoothing and a propane torch to "paint" some darker spots. This is still a "before" picture...

Of course this doesn't look nearly as good as the professional sculpture it was based upon, but it was the best I could do.
