I took a very pleasant spring morning hike in the desert above Ojo Caliente called the Posi ruins loop. Well you can't actually see any ruins, other in a satellite view there are low hills (from old building walls) that the trail crosses. But there are literally thousands of potsherds all over the place that people have mostly gathered into piles. Also colorful cholla cactus, etc.
