Hours later we found a campsite at Sugarite Canyon SP, NM about six miles northeast of Raton. Then I had time to drive back down through the park and to its north end to boat around Lake Maloya for an hour. Not long enough to reach the north end, but sufficient to enter Colorado (grin). Signs like these were placed by the Division of Wildlife.
