The day after hiking Horsetooth on Thursday, Cathie and I drove the van south to Jenny's new abode in Arvada. We hauled two bicycles with us on the hitch rack for the first time. Saturday morning just after 8 am, I pedaled away to join Pete Modreski (USGS) and three others for a bicycle geology tour of 12.4 miles of the Clear Creek trail.

First I spent 30 minutes going 4.5 miles to the meeting point at Prospect Park. I didn't return home until 8 hours and at least 30.2 miles after I left!
