This is the end of a narrow section a few minutes up Willow from the junction with Forty Mile Canyon. We had to wade through it nearly up to our waists -- very carefully, unsure of the depth. A few years ago I turned back before getting through this obstacle. This time I didn't take any pictures until near the end, but there are more later from the trip back out, when I was more comfortable.

We still had to cross a rather deeper pool and climb out without soaking our packs (or cameras). One person went ahead each way and then we handed our packs across, just to be safe.
