Sunday morning dawned overcast, breezy, wet, and cool. I thought the others were up, and dragged out at 6:30 am, but they were still sleeping. Then we waited and debated. Eventually it cleared and warmed up, so we crossed the lake at 8:30 (Jenny later, at 10 am). Stopped on the shore of the north peninsula for about 1.5 hours, the moved to the back of the bay to hike up to the hilltop. Found great agate southwest of there.
We left "early" at 2:30 pm, but it was time to go, with more bad weather threatening and my boat loaded to the max anyway. Good outing! Jenny was ready and took off an hour ahead of us. We left Elk Horn at 4:30.
