This was the third annual Fort Collins Rockhounds Club camping trip to Shirley Basin, Wyoming (northeast of Medicine Bow). At the campsite on BLM land about 6 miles east of the Marshall Road on the Sheep Creek Road, we had 12 people and 6 vehicles overnight. There were some thunderstorms, rain, and wind both afternoons, but the night was nice and calm.
