After a personally hard winter, I took a little road trip to Utah. It was postponed a week by bad weather, then another day when Cathie's dog Shadow took ill and was euthanized. Finally with very mixed feelings, I headed out in my car on a Tuesday morning...
My first stop was 2.5+ hours in Lakewood, Colorado, picking up more of Cathie's mom's papers to sort back at home, and talking with her brother. I made it to Yellowcat Flat the first night, then enjoyed camping, rockhounding, hiking, working on the houseboat, kayaking, exploring, and more rockhounding!
