Cathie and I took her aging dog, Shadow, with us on a 500+ mile each way road trip from Fort Collins, CO, to visit Jenny Pruett in Los Alamos, NM for three nights. We had a great time, but mostly I took photos only of the K/T boundary site just south of Trinidad, CO, at I25 mile 8.5, on the east side. This is a spot where the "fallout" from the Yucatan asteroid impact 65.5 +/- 0.3 MYA was visibly preserved -- if you know what to look for, at least.
